The church comes together to share a meal, remember the Passover and the events of Maundy Thursday. Good Friday Walk of Witness A child friendly Walk of Witness starting at St Andrew’s church at 11am on Good Friday, stopping 5 times to hear readings, sing hymns and pray. We walk to the post office and then return to just outside the library for coffee. Quite often it includes a baptism in which the person being baptised goes under the water (symbolising their willingness to walk the way of the cross), and is brought back up (as an expression of trust in the God who raised Jesus from the dead).
