Isaiah 18

Heavenly father
give us grace to wait for your kingdom to come, for your will be done. 

¹ A message for the land of Ethiopia; ² that sends ambassadors Egypt (to join forces against Assyria)” :
³ All you inhabitants of the world, when a banner is lifted up on the mountains, look! When the trumpet is blown, listen!
⁴ Yahweh said to me, “I will be still, and I will see in my dwelling place, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.”  (just wait)
⁵ For when the flower becomes a ripening grape, (in God’s time) he will cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks. 
⁶ They will be left for the ravenous birds and for the animals to eat  (The Assyrians will be defeated)
⁷ In that time, a present will be brought to Yahweh of Armies from Egypt to the place of the name of Yahweh of Armies, Mount Zion (and God’s people will return to Zion)
