give us grace today to avoid envy and embrace generosity

Heavenly father
give us grace today to face up to difficulties in life, in the same way that Jesus did.

give us grace today to seek first the kingdom of God (rather than power and status)

Heavenly father
give us grace today to cope with the difficulties that we encounter as a result of seeing first your Kingdom

give us grace today to be honest before you about our needs
