Heavenly father
give us grace to live with our eyes fixed on heaven, giving allegiance to you through being generous.

¹⁰ We have an altar from which those who serve the holy tabernacle have no right to eat.

are burned outside of the camp.

Heavenly father
give us grace to desire to live honourably in all things, to care for those entrusted to us with joy, and to submit to those in authority over us.

¹⁷ Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch on behalf of your souls, as those who will give account,
that they may do this with joy, and not with groaning, for that would be unprofitable for you.

Heavenly father
give us grace to do your will and be well pleasing in your sight.

Sometimes (Isaiah 1:15) this is what God has to say to people:

            ¹⁵When you stretch our your hands
            I will hide my eyes from you;
            Even through you make many prayers, I will not listen;

Wow!  Why is this?: It is because
            Your hands are full of blood

Heavenly Father, Give me grace to turn away from indifference, and allow you spirit of generosity and kindness to flow.
Open my eyes, too, to see those who have no-one to stand up for them, and give me grace to champion their justice.

She that was full of justice (standing up against all forms of abuse and harm),

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the promise that one day all people will be drawn to you.
Teach me your ways so that I can walk with you today, particularly where there is conflict.
What I ask for myself I ask for those in war zones, that they may look to you to settle disputes
so that justice and peace may abound.

² In the last days the place where the LORD is will be THE place

Yaweh, may your will become  the will of the world’s leaders so that peace may break out for all peoples.

3. Many peoples will come and say,

“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob.

He will teach us His ways, so that we may walk in His paths.”

The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

4. He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples.

They will beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks...

Heavenly father, Stop me giving undue importance to any thing, whether superstitions, customs, money, power or work
Forgive my arrogance, and give me grace to value what I find in you and worship you alone.
