Nativity from Scratch

The morning service on the Sunday before Christmas 10:30-11:45am includes a Nativity play with no previous rehearsals: Between 10:30 and 11:15 Adults have thoughtful Christmas preparation in the main church building while Children rehearse a nativity play in the Family Centre, which is then performed between 11:15 and 11:45

Any Questions about God

On-line session hosted by Nic Boyns, the church Pastor, where questions are invited about God, and we talk about possible answers.

Platinum Jubilee

On Sunday 5th June there was a Platinum Jubilee Cream Tea Street Party on the Family Centre drive, off Fishers’ Lane, between 3 and 5pm for over 100 people. There was community singing of songs from each decade of the Queens’ reign, a quiz with questions also from each decade and an excellent dancing display from the Nritham Dance Academy. We finished with a Songs of Praise between 5 and 6pm in the Baptist Church building as it was warmer!

Cherry Hinton Festival

During the week of Cherry Hinton Festival the Baptist Church and St Andrew’s alternate in our hosting of a service to give thanks for and pray for our community. This was replaced with a fair at St Andrews due to Covid in 2021.
