If you want to find out about football then go to a football match, and ask the people there about what is going on. If you want to find out about God then come and ask the people who you meet on a Sunday or in a small group on a weekday.
While Sunday morning “covers all the bases”, eight different small groups meet during the week, (all open in the Coronavirus era) each with a different emphasis where more time can be given to prayer, to praise, to bible study and to sharing our joys, sorrows and challenges.
Wednesday Messy Bible
Messy Bible aims to be a friendly, informal group where carers can come with their pre-school children and babies every Wednesday 9:30-11:15am and explore what the bible has to say about how we can walk with God. We also seek to support each other in putting that into practice. On zoom in coronavirus-era.
Around 70 people seek to revel in the presence of God that we may reveal the presence of God for the rest of the week. We pray, learn from the Bible, worship, break bread & talk to each other, sharing joys and sorrows. This takes place partly in the church building or Family Centre and partly on zoom, with activities for children split into 3 age groups. Use the contact form to book a place in the church building
Every Tuesday morning 8-8:30am members of Cherry Hinton Baptist Church and St Andrew’s Church of England Church meet to pray together using the words of Anglican Morning Prayer
