Isaiah 1v21-23

Heavenly Father, Give me grace to turn away from indifference, and allow you spirit of generosity and kindness to flow.
Open my eyes, too, to see those who have no-one to stand up for them, and give me grace to champion their justice.

21: How the faithful city has become a whore!
She that was full of justice (standing up against all forms of abuse and harm),
the place where righteousness was at home, is now home to people who take from each other and even take life.
22 What was beautiful and godly - like silver - has become tarnished
Your wine of generosity and kindness to others has become diluted with the water of indifference
23  Those in charge rebel away from God and his ways and are friends with those who steal
Everyone loves a bribe and runs after gifts
they do not defend those who are defenceless (the orphans)
they do not stand up for those who have noone to stand up for them (the widows)
