Psalm 60v6-
Book
Psalms
Chapter
60
Start Verse
6
6 God has spoken from his sanctuary:
7 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine. Judah is my scepter.
[If God is our God, then God says “You are mine, and a Jewel” - All of these are tribes of Israel or places they live]
8 Moab is my wash basin. I will throw my sandal on Edom.
I shout in triumph over Philistia.”
[If God is not our God then he will humble us and become like a wash basin]
10 Haven’t you, God, rejected us?
You don’t go out with our armies, God.
[but God seems far away from us at times]
11 Give us help against the adversary,
for the help of man is vain.
12 Through God we will do valiantly,
for it is he who will tread down our adversaries.
[but despite God seeming far away, we will pray and will have hope that he will help us]
