    Heavenly Father
    Give us grace to keep our eyes on the Jesus today, being changed into his likeness - the one who is perfect in love  

    17 In this, love has been made perfect among us, 
    that we may have boldness in the day of judgement, 
    because as he is, even so we are in this world. 
     

  • 1 John 4v18

    Heavenly Father
    Give us grace today to not be afraid

    18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love. 

  • 1 John 4v19

    Heavenly Father
    Give us grace today to know that we are loved

    19 We love him, because he first loved us. 

  • 1 John 4v20-21

    Give us grace today to love those we work and live alongside

    20 If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; 
    for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

    Heavenly Father
    Give us grace today to love you and trust Jesus to be our saviour (Christ) 

    1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God. 
    Whoever loves the Father also loves the child who is born of him.

    Give us grace today to love you and obey your command to love others

    2 By this we know that we love the children of God, 
    when we love God and keep his commandments.

    Give us grace today to believe in (the ways of) Jesus, particularly when faced with worldly difficulties 

    4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. 
    This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.

    Give us grace today to be immersed in Christ, remembering both the water of baptism and the blood of the cross
